Also known as "Collagen Induction Therapy" Microneedling works by applying a small amount of damage to the skin that triggers a healing response that causes healing beyond the injury caused by the Microneedling, leading to overall improvement in skin health and appearance. Just like exercise is a stress that makes your body stronger, microneedling is a stress that makes your skin better. When combined with topical serums it enhances the effectiveness of the serums by increasing their absorption. If you want youthful, glowing skin consider microneedling. To allow proper healing time between treatments, Microneedling can only be applied once every 4 weeks.
2
NanoNeedling
Using smaller needles than Microneedling, Nanoneedling gently exfoliates the skin and leads to improved topical serum absorption. Nanoneedling is the perfect adjunctive therapy to accompany microneedling becasue it can be performed weekly. The ideal treatment course for the most motivated patients is to have Microneedling every 4 weeks, with Nanoneedling session weekly between Microneedling sessions.

Anyone who is interested in improving their appearance and reducing wrinkles are familiar with the name "Botox". What most people do not realize is that Botox is just one of many "wrinkle relaxers" available. These wrinkle relaxers are collectively called neuromodulators. Each neuromodulator is a little different, but they all accomplish the same thing. Relaxing facial muscles to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. The wrinkle relaxer we use at Apricot Health Clinic is called Xeomin.
We chose Xeomin over other wrinkle relaxers for several reasons:
-
It is less likely to cause an immune reaction that results in the need to increase the dose over time.
-
It is a smaller molecule, so it does not create a heavy feeling in treated areas.
-
The purity of the active molecule matches our standards.

Mei Zen acupuncture is a specialized form of aesthetic acupuncture that focuses on, not only on appearance, but on overall health. When someone is healthy, aesthetics follow. This unique form of acupuncture can have similar effects to microneedling for improving the appearance of the skin, but it also helps balance the whole body. It requires specialized needles and precise needle placement. Dr. Chuang has been trained in this form of acupuncture.
